The articulated front rocker is the third essential element for the working of Wokenrol hybrid skates. This mechanism plays on safety and comfort at the same time.

It allows the crossing over the small obstacles from 10 to 20 mm which are responsible for 80% of the falls in rollerskate.

The rollerskaters name this the syndrome of the "sewer plate".
Moreover, these crossings are done carefully, a wheel after the other by dividing by two the vertical movements of the skate.

The rotation of the front rocker allows a rotation of the skate about 45° towards ahead. This possibility allows to push longer on the foot during each step and to increase the output.

On the opposite, the rotation of the front rocker is limited to 5° to avoid falls of the first wheel into the possible holes on the pavement.
